100_0236Ted founded Capstone Investment Financial Group in 2001, after beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1994. At Capstone, he developed a wealth of expertise in two areas: how to define clients’ goals and how to implement manageable, actionable steps toward achieving them. These remain the foundational ideas at Capstone. Ted helped found Capstone to provide fiduciary advice, always focused on the client’s best interests. This fiduciary focus remains central to Capstone’s mission today.

During his successful career, he has often been a source for financial planning information for the Colorado Springs Gazette, has been published in Financial Advisor magazine, and has written a column for several years in the money section of abcnews.com. In 2020, Ted entered the next phase of his restylement, ending his active involvement as an Investment Advisor Representative. However, he continues his lifelong learning and keeps in tune with the markets and the happenings at Capstone Investment Financial Group.

Ted has been an active member of the Colorado Springs community for decades, serving as a past Board member for Citizen’s Project, CIVA charter school, the Voter’s Network, and the Ithaka Land Trust. Now as he furthers his restylement, Ted splits his time between his homes in Colorado Springs and Puerto Vallarta. He enjoys following Duke basketball, participating in community service, and enjoying the lifelong relationships that he has created.
